We are delighted to welcome White Night in our Songmonk community.
The Berlin and San Francisco-based alternative synth-pop duo began collaborating whilst completing their graduate studies in classical music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (USA) in 2017. Since then, Elizabeth and Willi combine various influences and musical elements from jazz and contemporary-classical music to 1980’s pop to create enchanting sound experiences that carry the listener away into the world of big pictures, soundtracks and daydreams. Elizabeth’s love for the sweeping drama of orchestral music and Willis enthusiasm for electronic music ensure a very special mixture of sounds, which is the opposite of boring!
Both being classically trained musicians, Elizabeth and Willi are easily able to deliver their art in an unique Live-Set Up with a viola/baroque viola and guitar, combined with Elizabeth’s beautiful vocals.
In 2019 White Night won the US Songwriting Award in the category ‚Music for Motion Picture‘ with their song ‚Fade‘. You can find this beautiful song in our playlist - click here!
