The Boy Called Hedge

This channel collects Youtube videos of the genre #GermanSynthPop /#Synth-Pop – film creations of Bernhard Mueller, Cologne, Germany – out of his singer-songwriter project #TheBoyCalledHedge as solo artist or in collaboration with other artists.

Explanation: Bernhard Mueller aka The Boy Called Hedge is a former member of #$chwarzerFreitag – an early #ElectronicMusic #NewWave or #MinimalSynthWave band out of the Ruhr Area, Germany. The band released 2 songs on two vinyl #NDW samplers in 1984/85 and worked together from 1982-86. Re-release of one instrumental #MinimalSynthwave track (XX 4) in July 2016.
Under his artist name he released an early #Synth-Pop lo-fi (4-track) record as digital release on Bedroom Cassette Masters Vol. 4 – “When You Fall In Love” (see bandcamp.com) in 2013. In May 2018 his first digital solo single #It’sLove on bandcamp, too.
